POSTED: October 1,2005 ANNOUNCEMENT Hoover Precision Products Hoover Precision Products is pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Sturdy to the position of President, Hoover Precision Products, effective October 1, 2005. As President, Eric will be responsible for all manufacturing operations and sales. Joe Schmenk will continue as CEO of Hoover Precision Products. Eric Sturdy joined Hoover in 1990 as Plant Manager for Hoover’s Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Plant. In 1995, Eric was promoted to Vice President/Operations Manager of the Specialty Division which included the East Granby, Connecticut Plant as well. Since 2003 Eric has held the position of Executive Vice President of Hoover Precision Products and Operations Manager for Hoover’s Plant in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. As Operations Manager, Eric’s primary focus has been to continue the development of new business and improve efficiency of the Sault Ste. Marie Plant. In his role as Executive Vice President, Eric has assisted all Hoover Plants in developing their business visions, missions and strategies. Over the past 15 years, Eric’s expertise in marketing and problem solving has been utilized throughout the Hoover organization. Eric will be relocating to the Corporate Office of Hoover Precision Products in Cumming, Georgia. Hoover Precision Products is a global manufacturer of precision balls used in bearings, valves, pumps, medical devices, and many other applications. Manufacturing plants are located in Cumming GA, Sault Ste. Marie MI, East Granby CT and Erwin TN in the USA, and also in Puebla Mexico, Debrecen Hungary, Krasnik Poland and Taicang China. |
