Stainless Steel Balls Type Nimo

420 stainless steel Nimo is a hardenable martensitic stainless that provides a moderately high level of corrosion resistance, with hardness up to Rockwell C51.  Nimo has been used for many applications such as cutlery, food processing equipment, valve parts, guages, conveyor chains and instruments and in medical and surgical applications.

420 stainless steel Nimo is balanced to be fully martensitic in the hardened condition and is magnetic in all conditions.

Laboratory test have shown 420 stainless steel Nimo to have better corrosion resistance than type 410 and 440 in a number of environments. It has good resistance to rusting and corrosion by atmospheric conditions and various chloride-containing environments.
